DraftKings EuroLeague Guards:

Mike James trolled us on Tuesday, but I may just go back to him. He put up 40.25 DraftKings points on an Olympiacos team at full strength. Now they are down their top two guards. I expect a big game from James here.

I don’t know what it is, but I just don’t trust Facundo Campazzo with the roster at full strength. He has had a couple of good games in a row now, but I still don’t trust it. The issue seems to be that there isn’t much of a middle tier of guard here today. This is especially true with Theo Maledon only playing three minutes on Tuesday with no explanation. Yikes!

This is the kind of performance we were waiting on for Peyton Siva. I know it was against Milan, but he had a solid game against Real Madrid the first time around with 19 DraftKings points. We could do worse.

It has been Jordan Taylor taking over in the backcourt for Villeurbanne lately, not Maledon. Taylor is a much safer, and cheaper, selection.

I’m not sure I trust anyone in the CSKA backcourt aside from James. The return of Strelnieks confused an already muddled situation. Daniel Hackett seems the best play, but I don’t know that I’m willing to use him. There’s better value out there.

Brandon Paul is in line for a big jump in minutes here. He torched CSKA for 34.5 DraftKings points in just 23 minutes in the first meeting. Wade Baldwin should also see a lot more minutes. He had been stepping up lately anyway and is far too cheap with Spanoulis and Rochestie out.

Good luck gambling with the Baskonia backcourt. Semaj Christon started last game but was as ineffective as Sergi Garcia has been. Either are decent GPP darts, but they can also ruin your lineup.
