In what has become a trend, the Jacksonville Jaguars need to upgrade their blocking drastically to protect their young quarterback.

This is assuming they roll with Gardner Minshew, but even if they go with experience (Nick Foles) they still need to block much better.

Offensive tackle Cam Robinson is decent but could be upgraded. He struggled a lot in 2019, and he hasn’t been able to show he’s the left tackle of the future.

Jawaan Taylor is one young tackle on the roster who should grow into a solid tackle, but even if he improves it still means the Jaguars need some protection on the blindside.

Mekhi Becton looks a lot like a clone of Cincinnati Bengals tackle Cordy Glenn. He’s massive at 6-foot-7 and 369 pounds while being much more athletic than his frame would suggest.

Becton is a bit of a project as he needs to refine his technique and improve his consistency, but he has All-Pro potential.

Because of his upside and the sheer importance of blindside protection, Becton will likely be a top-16 pick who could go even earlier if a team falls in love with him.
