Duds

LaMarcus Aldridge (at SAC – $7,100 on DK; $6,800 on FD): The Kings are very good against the position and that’s what concerns me for Aldridge. He’s inconsistent and his big games are big but his dud games are duds. Maybe you’re willing to take the risk but there’s better value elsewhere in this one.

Fred VanVleet (vs BKN – $6,900 on DK; $6,500 on FD): VanVleet has been playing consistent basketball and probably isn’t going to hurt you. The Nets are good against the position and the Raptors are on a back to back. And with the Raptors being healthy, they play a strong team game where numbers might not always be there.

Reggie Jackson (vs NY – $6,600 on DK; $6,000 on FD): It’s a back to back for the Pistons and while Reggie is their best scoring option, he’s also inconsistent and not exactly the most reliable player in the world. The ceiling is there but the price is a tad too high.

Deandre Ayton (vs DEN – $9,100 on DK; $9,200 on FD): It’s a back to back for the Suns and Ayton will definitely have a tougher time against the Nuggets than the Rockets given the respective frontcourt options. Ayton might not hurt you but his ceiling is limited and there’s better value below him.

Andrew Wiggins (vs LAL – $7,900 on DK; $7,100 on FD): It’s unknown if Wiggins is going to play following the trade. If he does then stay away. It’s a tough matchup and who knows how he’s going to fit in. The ceiling is high but even his own coach admitted he can’t carry the load and be the star. Too many red flags for him in this one.
