DraftKings NBA core plays:

Many of the cash anchors can anchor GPP lines as well. However, there’s a lot of value out there if you’re willing to take some risks. Do keep in mind that you wont be able to use all five staples in the same lineup. These are just guidelines to help in your build.

More from DraftKings

Cash game staples:

Chris Paul, Thunder

Jrue Holiday, Pelicans (if Ingram out)

Paul George, Clippers

Jayson Tatum, Celtics

Zion Williamson, Pelicans

Josh Hart, Pelicans (if Ingram out)

DraftKings NBA is perfect for GPP purposes since there are quite a few values to be found at this stage of the season. Most cash options are also GPP viable. The following players will mostly be used in GPP lineups.

Dennis Schroder, Thunder

SGA, Thunder

Gordon Hayward, Celtics

Danilo Gallinari, Thunder

Steven Adams, Thunder

Lou Williams, Clippers

Value picks:

Brad Wanamaker, Celtics

J.J. Redick, Pelicans

Landry Shamet, Clippers

Nicolo Melli, Pelicans

Steven Adams, Thunder

Daniel Theis, Celtics

Stacks:

Thunder

Pelicans

This was requested by a loyal reader and avid sports bettor. I am going to try to predict the “trifecta” each night, as in the three highest scoring players on the slate. I have yet to hit all three, and only got two of them a couple of times.

Towns didn’t play. Sabonis flat out sucked. Trae was strong at 53.25 DraftKings points, but Luka, Lebron, Jamal Murray, and Russell all outscored him at the position. Last night was almost a total bust. On to tonight!

George

Holiday (if Ingram out). If not, Tatum

Tatum or Kahwi

The same person who requested the trifecta also suggested that I try to project high ownership. This could be tricky, but here are the three I think will be highest owned, in no particular order.

With KAT out, James Johnson led the way at 42.26%. The next highest was Booker at 31.1%. Middleton was only 22.63%. That’s why my return was so low last night. None of my picks were in the top ten besides Middleton (sixth). On tonight!

Holiday (if Ingram out). If not, Paul George

Gallinari

Tatum
