1. Chris Harris Jr. (Denver Broncos)

While these not necessarily coming off one of his best seasons, Denver Broncos’ cornerback Chris Harris Jr. remains a formidable performer at the position and brings a lot of savvy and experience to any team. But will that once again mean another season for the former undrafted free agent who has been a solid player in the league for the past nine years?

Once again via the staff at Pro Football Focus (subscription required), the former University of Kansas standout comes off a 2019 campaign in which he was ranked the NFL’s 34th-best corner and earned the lowest grade of his career. As for the raw numbers, Harris started all 16 games finished fifth on Vic Fangio’s club with 56 tackles. There was just one interception, one forced fumble and six passes defensed.

Is Harris on the decline? It’s hard to say considering it was his first season under Fangio and coordinator Ed Donatell. And this was a Denver defensive unit that got off to a slow start this past year.

Still, it’s hard to ignore 20 career interceptions, four Pro Bowl invitations, five consecutive postseason appearances from 2011-15 and the experience gained in winning a Super Bowl title. And that is certainly appealing to any number of teams looking to take another step forward.
