Scrubs

Derrick Rose (vs MIL – $5,900 on DK; $5,500 on FD): No more Reggie Jackson means more opportunities for Rose. He’s been very good all season when it comes to getting his numbers. It’s a tough matchup against the best team in the league but someone has to get numbers for the Pistons and Rose is the best option.

Brook Lopez (at DET – $5,600 on DK; $5,800 on FD): Lopez was playing consistent before the break and now he has a great matchup against the Pistons. No Drummond means slightly lesser competition to battle for rebounds and Lopez is a guy who gets his shots in the Bucks offense. He’s a consistent option with a great matchup.

Robert Covington (at GS – $5,500 on DK; $6,000 on FD): There’s plenty of value on the Rockets in this game due to their system and the matchup. I think the Warriors do their best to limit Harden, thus opening things up for the rest of the Rockets. Covington will get his shots and the break will benefit him as he gets more time to get comfortable with the team.

Damion Lee (vs HOU – $5,200 on DK; $4,900 on FD): Lee had a monster game against the Rockets earlier this season. He was playing consistent basketball before the break and will certainly get the opportunities. He’s not going to hurt you at this price and the ceiling is high given the matchup.

Dillon Brooks (at SAC – $5,000 on DK; $4,900 on FD): Brooks was down before the All-Star break, but that’s to your benefit as his price as dropped. And the Kings aren’t exactly a great team. Furthermore, I expect a big push from the Grizzlies in the final months of the season as they look to secure a playoff bid. That starts on Thursday. He’s worth the risk with his ceiling and shouldn’t hurt you.
