DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

James Harden ($10,900): Harden struggled against Utah last year, but we know their defense isn’t what it used to be. Harden went for 66.5 DraftKings points in the first meeting 13 days ago. I don’t see anything stopping Harden from doing it again. He’s on a streak of three straight 60+ DraftKings point games that started with the first Utah game. It likely continues here.

Spencer Dinwiddie ($7,700): Dinwiddie has 120.25 DraftKings points in the three prior games against Charlotte. Their young guards are fun to watch, but they still don’t really defend. Dinwiddie and LeVert are splitting the usage, but both are thriving in this situation. Dinwiddie’s ceiling isn’t what it used to be, but it may have made his floor better. I don’t know that a lot of people will hang in the middle tier tonight, but if you do, Dinwiddie is a strong play.

Honorable Mention:

Donovan Mitchell ($7,400): Mitchell still looks cheap at this price. Dallas shut him down just before the break to keep the price low, but Mitchell has easily blown past 5x value at this price in both games against Houston so far. The return of Conley wont really affect Mitchell. The disaster last night, along with the price increase, does make me nervous.

Jordan Clarkson ($5,300): We haven’t seen much of how this team will operate with both Conley and Clarkson healthy, but so far it looks as though Clarkson will retain a solid role even with Conley around. The ceiling is much lower, but Clarkson is still going to see plenty of shots. He has knocked them down with more regularity with Utah. This is a great matchup against Houston, so I have no issues using him even with Conley back.

Dark Horses:

Malik Monk ($5,100): Monk didn’t hold a prominent role in the Charlotte rotation the last time this team played the Nets. Monk has been the best of the three-headed guard monster in Charlotte for the month of February. Rozier and Graham both cooled off, but Monk playing out of his mind hasn’t helped their causes either. Monk is the cheapest of the three and has the highest ceiling right now.

Josh Richardson ($4,400): The 27.25 DraftKings points on Thursday was probably a little disappointing considering the game went into overtime, but the more telling thing was the 39 minutes that Richardson played. He’s still going to be heavily involved. He had a big game against the Bucks on Christmas. That’s possible again, but not likely. Richardson should still hit 6x value, but don’t expect any more than that.
