Top star players, best value picks, and guys you should stay away from on February 22 in NBA DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Welcome to Studs, Scrubs, and Duds; FanSided’s NBA DFS lineup helper.

Here’s what’s on the slate for tonight:

7 p.m. ET: Brooklyn at Charlotte
7:30 p.m. ET: Dallas at Atlanta
8 p.m. ET: Cleveland at Miami, Phoenix at Chicago
8:30 p.m. ET: Philadelphia at Milwaukee
9 p.m. ET: Houston at Utah

How this works:

Studs: Top high salary picks that you can build your lineup around.
Scrubs: Value players looking for a big night or consistent options to help fill out your lineup.
Duds: Players to avoid given their high salary and/or poor matchup.

Five players are picked on each slide, positions are not applicable, and both DraftKings and FanDuel salaries are listed.

Studs

Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs PHI – $11,200 on DK; $11,300 on FD): It’s a tough matchup for Giannis and a matchup where he should see more than his usual playing time. If Simmons doesn’t play that’s even better for Giannis because it’s one less good defender they can throw at him. He’s guaranteed value and the ceiling is always high.

Trae Young (vs DAL – $10,600 on DK; $10,200 on FD): I’m here for the Trae vs Luka show and it will most certainly be a show. The Mavericks are weak against the position and Trae is Trae. A triple double is possible along with a high scoring output. Trae will deliver and then some.

Bam Adebayo (vs CLE – $8,600 on DK; $9,100 on FD): It’s going to be a big night in Miami and they welcome a great matchup. Bam is coming off a strong game against Atlanta and is a guy who was mentored by Wade, so this game means even more for him. Butler is a strong option as well. Grab one of the two but I prefer Bam’s ceiling.

Spencer Dinwiddie (at CHA – $7,700 on DK; $7,500 on FD): Kyrie remains out and Dinwiddie remains the top option. It’s a great matchup against the Hornets and Dinwiddie is certainly going to get his points in this game. You can also look towards LeVert given the same matchup and opportunities and Graham as well.

Bojan Bogdanovic (vs HOU – $6,500 on DK; $5,600 on FD): Bogdanovic didn’t play well last time against the Rockets but he is typically a consistent option. And rough shooting nights aren’t typically the norm for him. Expect a bounce back performance against them where he gives you a little bit of everything. Gobert remains a good option as well.
