Duds

Joel Embiid (at MIL – $9,400 on DK; $10,100 on FD): If Simmons is out, there is going to be a lot of pressure and attention on Embiid. He’s hit and miss against Milwaukee and he’s been rather inconsistent this season overall. He has a high ceiling but there is more guaranteed and better value below him.

John Collins (vs DAL – $8,400 on DK; $8,000 on FD): Collins just isn’t offering enough value for the price right now. He’s a good player and can get a double double but it’s not clicking right now for him and it’s a tough matchup against a good Mavericks team who are very good against the position.

Kevin Love (at MIA – $7,200 on DK; $6,800 on FD): Love has taken a step back with Drummond in the lineup. He still has a high ceiling but it’s a tough matchup against a good Miami team and there’s nothing guaranteed for him right now. There is better value below him on Saturday.

Kelly Oubre Jr. (at CHI – $6,600 on DK; $6,000 on FD): It’s a back to back for the Suns and Oubre has been rather inconsistent going into the break. Booker usually takes over after the break and that has me a little bit concerned for Oubre’s value in this one. The Bulls are also a rather solid defensive team when they want to be.

Tim Hardaway Jr (at ATL – $6,100 on DK; $5,600 on FD): Hardaway has a high ceiling but the price is a little too high for him on DK given that Luka is back and controlling things. Hardaway Jr is also an inconsistent option. When he hits, he hits big. But his misses are just as big. There are better value players elsewhere.
