Duds

Bradley Beal (at CHI – $9,600 on DK; $9,200 on FD): Beal has been disappointing as of late and until he shows a little more consistently, there is no great reason to take him. The ceiling is high but he’s also disappointed against this matchup, which doesn’t help my confidence in him.

Andrew Wiggins (vs NO – $8,000 on DK; $7,800 on FD): The Pelicans aren’t good against the position but Wiggins is as all over the place as ever on the Warriors. There’s even less help around him than when he played for the Timberwolves. And he can takeover, but it’s not really his consistent game. Find value elsewhere.

Jrue Holiday (at GS – $7,800 on DK; $8,200 on FD): The prices have raised on the Pelicans because they are playing well and they are playing against the Warriors. But not everyone is going to deliver overvalue in the way that they need to deliver. Ingram and Lonzo offer better prices and just as much guaranteed value with a similar ceiling.

Fred VanVleet (vs IND – $7,600 on DK; $6,500 on FD): The Raptors are consistent and that certainly helps. VanVleet probably isn’t going to hurt you but his ceiling is limited given the matchup and how the Raptors play. I prefer someone like Ibaka in this matchup as he’s a cheaper option with a great history against the Pacers.

Steven Adams (vs SA – $6,800 on DK; $6,300 on FD): Adams’ price has jumped because of his reason play but I’m not sold against this matchup. He typically struggles against the Spurs and until I see him perform well, it’s too tough to trust him. The price jump is a definite stay away.
