1. Chicago Bears

This one may feel like a stretch, but it could make sense. The Chicago Bears must realize they made a major mistake taking Mitchell Trubisky second overall in the 2017 NFL Draft. We can go on about how Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson were still on the board, but they decided to go with the player out of UNC. It was a mistake, but it continues to be a mistake as long as they go into next season with Trubisky still as their only option.

The problem here, unlike the other teams on this list, is the Bears do not have the cap space to make it happen. They cut Prince Amukamara and Taylor Gabriel, which gives them around $26 million in space. That’s still nowhere near enough to sign Winston and bring in the rookies they’re about to draft unless they sign Winston to a long-term deal.

However, it might be the move. The Bears seem to be a logical fit in terms of roster. They have an elite defense that can make up for any mistakes Winston might make. They have a receiver in Allen Robinson who can make plays by himself. They have a really good offensive coach in Matt Nagy. There is something here, but the cap gymnastics makes this the least likely destination.
