Las Vegas is back on the clock with their second pick of the first round of this draft. The No. 19-overall selection is theirs due to the Mack trade ahead of the 2019 season and they use it to secure a playmaking linebacker in Patrick Queen from LSU.

Queen is slightly undersized at 6-foot-1 and 227 pounds but he doesn’t play like it. He’s a high-IQ middle linebacker who can fly from sideline-to-sideline and is excellent in both pass coverage and in the run game.

For the Raiders, it’s been a while since they’ve had that enforcer in the middle of their defense. Queen will bring a new element to that side of the ball, one that has been needed for years.

Bulldogs . Cameron Dantzler. 80. player. 893. . CB

The Raiders had to sit out the entire second round of the draft as they gave that pick to the Bears in the Mack trade as well. Now back on the clock at No. 80, they look to another SEC school for a defensive back as they add Cameron Dantzler from Mississippi State.

Dantzler doesn’t get mentioned often with some of the big names in this draft and seems to be growing a bit of a chip on his shoulder due to that. This will only help him work harder to become the player his potential says he can be.

At 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, he has the length to challenge receivers on the outside but could stand to add some weight. Still, he’s a bargain at this point in the draft.
