Jeff Gladney. 29. player. 35. . Cornerback. Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans will be a team to keep an eye on during free agency, as they have some big name offensive players ready to hit the open market. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill stepped in for Marcus Mariota during the 2019 season and led the Titans to the AFC title game, but he and star running back Derrick Henry are unrestricted free agents this offseason.

On the other side of the ball, star cornerback Logan Ryan is also entering free agency, and there may not be enough money to go around for all three players. If the team does decide to move on from Ryan, then they could get his replacement late in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, bringing in TCU’s Jeff Gladney.

This is a guy who can flat out cover, and has the ability to come down on the line and make plays in the backfield. Whether late in round one, or early in round two, this kid is going to be picked in the first 50 selections, and for the Titans, he could come in and be a solid, cheap replacement for Ryan immediately.

. Linebacker. Green Bay Packers. Patrick Queen. 30. player. 49

The Green Bay Packers made it all the way to  the NFC Championship Game this past season, and then were blown out of the water by Jimmy Garoppolo and the San Francisco 49ers. Heading into next season, there are a lot of issues to fix, including the wide receiver spot, where they could certainly use the No. 30 overall pick.

However, the defense was an issue in that NFC title game, and with linebacker Blake Martinez hitting free agency, they could have a gaping hole in the middle of their defense in 2020. If Martinez does sign on elsewhere, the Packers should use their first round pick on the linebacker position, and Patrick Queen from LSU is NFL-ready right now.

Queen would be the Packers middle linebacker from Day 1, and in Queen, they would be getting a guy with a high motor, who can tackle, and is decent in coverage. Sure, Aaron Rodgers will want another wideout weapon with this pick, but if the Packers do not get better on defense, he is not winning a second title.
