Bachelor Nation Investigation: Why aren’t Kelley and Natasha at the Women Tell All?

Kelley and Natasha were reportedly not invited to The Bachelor’s Women Tell All filming. Time to investigate!

The Bachelor’s annual yelling match they call the Women Tell All filmed last weekend. Two fan favorites were not in attendance: Kelley Flanagan and (despite her making the promo for the episode three times) Natasha Parker.

Natasha clarified on her Twitter feed that the two situations were different. At least, that’s what speculation about this tweet would lead us to believe. It would seem as though the two weren’t there for different reasons.

According to news-of-this-sort breaker Reality Steve,

Kelley wasn’t even invited

, despite being in Los Angeles at the time of the taping. This makes little sense, as both of the women were in the conversation for the next

Bachelorette

. For Kelley to not even be invited is downright ridiculous.

The Taken theory

Perhaps Natasha and Kelley were taken, like the girl in the critically acclaimed hit movie series Taken. Only Chris Harrison, with his particular set of skills, skills he has acquired over a long career, skills that make him a nightmare for the people who have taken Nat and Kelley, can rescue them now.

A quick glance at their Instagram accounts could dispel this theory. Kelley was recently out and about in Chicago, celebrating her 28th birthday, while Natasha posted a story from a Seth Herzog show last night. What if Seth was the one who took her, though? Hmm.

The bad guys from Taken were Albanian traffickers. The movie actually set Albanian tourism back years, as the reformed nation has recently been making a push to become a tourist hot spot like its neighbors Croatia, Montenegro and Greece. Today, Albania is embracing the movies. Their current campaign slogan is “Be taken by Albania.”

How do I know this? I was there last summer. It is gorgeous. The beaches are incredible, the mountains offer spectacular views of the coast and the people couldn’t be more friendly. If Kelley and Natasha are in Albania, I’m sure they are having a great time.

A Melissa situation

Are we sure Natasha and Kelley weren’t struck with a vicious bout of Lyme disease, tragically ending their lives on the brink of fame and leaving their respective body doubles to take the reins on their booming careers? That’s exactly what happened to Avril Lavigne when Melissa stepped in and while it’s highly unlikely to happen twice in a week, I don’t think we should rule it out until we’re sure.

Their phones died

We’ve all been there. Perhaps these two were out late the night before the Women Tell All (duh) and forgot to plug their phones in back at the hotel. As a society, we rely on our cell phones for everything these days. When is the last time you saw someone with a bedside clock in their room?

Hotels have these, I guess, but no one actually uses them. If Kelley and Natasha were roomies and both of their phones died, perhaps they missed the bus to the studio where WTA was filming. Chris Harrison waits for no one.

The Women Tell All likely films in the afternoon or evening, so sleeping in probably isn’t our answer. Kelley does like naps, though. She chose to take one on her final date, assuming Peter was a logical person who valued her put-togetherness over Victoria’s… not put-togetherness. Naps have been her downfall in the past.

Football try-outs

Both Kelley and Natasha were on the football group date with Peter earlier this season and both put on quite the showcase. Is it possible the Browns called them back to Cleveland for a private try out? Or maybe, they’re working towards the XFL like our main man Clay Harbor?

Dishing on Bachelor drama is important, but a once-in-a-lifetime chance at professional football doesn’t come around often. It would be impossible to blame them for prioritizing this over the WTA.

The real reason is…

Sometimes cast members are missing from the Bachelor’s Women Tell All episode. It happens. It could be because of a wedding or a prior event to something as simple as not wanting to be there. These people don’t owe us any more than they’ve given already. If it came down to them wanting to eat chips and watch Love is Blind instead, then we should respect them for that decision.

It seems as though Natasha falls into this boat (minus the part about Love is Blind). If we were to assume her tweet listed above covered all of the information we need to know, she had a prior arrangement and could not make it. Kelley’s situation seems to be slightly different.

According to Reddit (which is a mixed bag at best), Kelley was likely not invited. One prominent reason could be because production wasn’t happy with her throughout the process. If that is true, then it’s pretty sad, because in her time on the show, Kelley only ever acted like a kind, sensible role model with a valued career outside of the Bachelor world. We all saw through production’s paper-thin bullshit “villain” edit.

Hopefully, the true reasoning comes out and it’s something as simple as both of them being tied up for the weekend. If this is on Bachelor production in any way, we can add it to the long list of the over-the-top meddling featured throughout this season.

Kelley and Natasha possess a very particular set of skills. Skills they have acquired over their very long careers. Skills that make them a nightmare for people like you (production). If you apologize now, that’ll be the end of it. They will not look for you, they will not pursue you, but if you don’t, they will look for you, they will find you and they will

kill you

express their displeasure with you.
