Top star players, best value picks, and guys you should stay away from on February 28 in NBA DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Welcome to Studs, Scrubs, and Duds; FanSided’s NBA DFS lineup helper.

Here’s what’s on the slate for tonight:

7 p.m. ET: Minnesota at Orlando
7:30 p.m. ET: Brooklyn at Atlanta, Charlotte at Toronto
8 p.m. ET: Sacramento at Memphis, Dallas at Miami, Oklahoma City at Milwaukee, Cleveland at New Orleans
9 p.m. ET: Detroit at Phoenix, Washington at Utah
10:30 p.m. ET: Denver at LA Clippers

How this works:

Studs: Top high salary picks that you can build your lineup around.
Scrubs: Value players looking for a big night or consistent options to help fill out your lineup.
Duds: Players to avoid given their high salary and/or poor matchup.

Five players are picked on each slide, positions are not applicable, and both DraftKings and FanDuel salaries are listed.

Studs

Bradley Beal (at UTA – $9,700 on DK; $9,300 on FD): Beal continues to be on a roll and while the Jazz sound like they should be a tough matchup, it’s not exactly clicking for them right now. I’m not going against Beal with the way he’s been playing and I’m not comfortable going with Utah with the way they’ve been playing. Beal is guaranteed valeue with a high ceiling at this moment.

Pascal Siakam (vs CHA – $8,500 on DK; $8,100 on FD): The Raptors should have little issue with the Hornets and Siakam is the best player on either team. The issue with the Raptors is that they are a well balanced team and that can hurt. But Siakam has the highest ceiling of anyone else on the team outside of maybe Lowry. Grab one of them.

Aaron Gordon (vs MIN – $8,200 on DK; $7,800 on FD): Gordon has been playing great ever since Dwyane Wade forgot how to count and he enters into a fantastic matchup against the Timberwolves. Their lack of inside presence should allow him to really get going in this matchup as he collects points and rebounds. I love his ceiling in this game.

Deandre Ayton (vs DET – $8,100 on DK; $9,000 on FD): Ayton has been a bit up and down as of late but overall he’s in a good spot given the matchup. The Pistons don’t have much in their frontcourt as far as defense and Ayton is an easy double double with a high scoring ceiling in this matchup.

Zion Williamson (vs CLE – $8,000 on DK; $8,000 on FD): The Pelicans are pushing hard for the playoffs and that’s important because they are less likely to coast or anything like that. The Cavaliers have also been playing better but I’m not doubting Zion against a frontcourt that doesn’t have the defensive ability to stop him. He’s at a great price given his ceiling.
