Scrubs

Malik Beasley (at ORL – $6,200 on DK; $5,800 on FD): Beasley continues to deliver with the extra opportunities in Minnesota. It’s a tough matchup against an Orlando team that isn’t bad defensively. But Beasley provides better value than a guy like Russell and even though his price has jumped, he remains guaranteed value.

Kendrick Nunn (vs DAL – $5,900 on DK; $4,900 on FD): Nunn has been playing very well as of late and while the Heat have fallen off, he’s a guy on the team that I trust right now. And if the Heat are still dealing with some injuries, then Nunn will continue to get the extra opportunities. He’s a high ceiling player who I trust at this price.

Terrence Ross (vs MIN – $5,400 on DK; $4,900 on FD): Ross has been consistent as of late and the ceiling is high given his ability to get hot. And it’s a great matchup against a weak Minnesota defense. The Ross will certainly get his opportunities and there’s a good chance he’ll cash in given the opponent.

Brook Lopez (vs OKC – $5,300 on DK; $5,100 on FD): Lopez typically plays very well against the Thunder. And if they don’t end up playing Gallinari, their lack of frontcourt depth will be punished by a guy like Lopez. He won’t hurt you at this price and he has a high ceiling given the opponent and circumstances.

Jordan Clarkson (vs WAS – $5,200 on DK; $4,800 on FD): I know the Jazz have looked awful as of late and Clarkson has not been consistent. But this is a matchup where they can turn it around. And Clarkson is at a good value given what he brings to the table. There’s nothing guaranteed with him. He’s a risky player but if you’re looking for someone to swing your league on a big night, he can do it.
