Duds

Nikola Vucevic (vs MIN – $9,200 on DK; $9,000 on FD): Vucevic has been fine but with Gordon really stepping up, his numbers have dipped a bit. The matchup is excellent given the injury to KAT, but I’m rolling with Gordon and the rest of the Magic right now rather than spending more on Vucevic.

D’Angelo Russell (at ORL – $8,800 on DK; $8,500 on FD): It’s a tough matchup against the Magic and my complaints with Russell remain the same. The team around him isn’t good and his ceiling is rather limited right now. There’s plenty more guaranteed value or guys with a higher ceiling in this one.

Spencer Dinwiddie (at ATL – $7,900 on DK; $7,300 on FD): LeVert has been the top guy for the Nets as of late as Dinwiddie has just sort of leveled out. He might not hurt you and there’s certainly something to be said for guaranteed value, especially on a big night, but the Hawks are better against the position than you may think, which could limit Dinwiddie’s ceiling. Just good isn’t good enough.

Rudy Gobert (vs WAS – $7,800 on DK; $7,600 on FD): Gobert just doesn’t have it as the Jazz just don’t have it. His price has dropped and it’s a great matchup against the Wizards. But have you seen his play as of late? It’s terrible and he looks very frustrated. Until there are signs of it turning around, I can’t trust him under any circumstances.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (at MIL – $7,500 on DK; $6,900 on FD): It’s a back to back for the Thunder and a tough matchup against Milwaukee on the road. And I’m not liking the chances of OKC. They’ll compete, but this feels more like a CP3 game with a little Adams and Schroder mixed in. Shai can be consistent and I don’t quite trust him in this matchup with so much value in play on a big night.
