DraftKings NBA picks March 1: Back to the A.D. well
By Mike Marteny
DraftKings NBA Small Forwards:
Best Bets:
LeBron James ($10,900): LeBron let A.D. have his fun in the first couple of games against his former team, but he dropped 60 on them last week with Zion making his debut against the Lakers. This could be a Davis night again back in the Smoothie King center, but I still think LeBron has good numbers. He carries a little less risk at the very least.
Brandon Ingram ($7,900): Ingram dropped 50.75 DraftKings points on his former team in his former home then proceeded to take Cleveland behind the woodshed as well. Holiday was mugged by the bigger Cavs and Lakers. Ingram chopped them up like DraftKings did this slate. He’s one of the best per-dollar plays on this slate.
Honorable Mention:
Andrew Wiggins ($7,600): I’ve mentioned many times in here that I don’t trust Wiggins, but he is literally the only guy on the court for the Warriors that is a proven scorer. I’m going to enjoy watching him and Beal swap haymakers in this game and may run both of them in a lineup because this is going to be a fun one. This is one of the few times I’m on Wiggins. He may get 40 shots in this one. No, I’m not kidding.
Norman Powell ($5,100): It was a nice return for Powell, who put up 29.25 DraftKings points in 36 minutes on Friday. VanVleet is likely out again, so Powell will be all over my lineups again. Potential Raptors value hurt my bottom line on Friday. I’m not making that mistake again. I’m staying to the safe play of Powell.
Dark Horses:
Svi Mykhailiuk ($3,600): Detroit can’t decide what the hell they want to do with Svi, which is more than a mild disappointment. He’s a superb value when he hits 30 minutes, but Friday was the first time for that in almost a month. That makes him a high risk-medium reward play.
