4. Tennessee Titans

If the Titans don’t use a tag on Ryan Tannehill, or meet what he could get elsewhere on a longer-term deal, they’ll be looking at other options at quarterback rather quickly. Rumors attaching Tom Brady to Tennessee have ramped up, with former teammate Mike Vrabel as head coach and a team that has solid offensive pieces and a good defense. But if Brady does not come in concert with Tannehill landing elsewhere, down the list the Titans will go.

Winston could be brought in to clearly take over as the Titans’ starter. Or he could be signed as a more cheaply as viable replacement option if Tannehill is back but proves last year was a significant outlier and a fluke.

A second straight trip to the AFC title game is not necessarily likely, but the Titans should be plenty competitive in 2020 if they can continue to have capable quarterback play. Tannehill added the element of deep ball prowess to a Derrick Henry-driven offense last year.

Winston’s arm strength and superior physical tools, if he can curb his turnovers, would allow him to be at least similarly successful. If the dominoes fall a certain way, Winston and Tennessee looks to be a suitable marriage.
