Top star players, best value picks, and guys you should stay away from on March 2 in NBA DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Welcome to Studs, Scrubs, and Duds; FanSided’s NBA DFS lineup helper.

Here’s what’s on the slate for tonight:

7 p.m. ET: Utah at Cleveland, Houston at New York, Portland at Orlando
7:30 p.m. ET: Memphis at Atlanta, Milwaukee at Miami
8 p.m. ET: Dallas at Chicago
8:30 p.m. ET: Indiana at San Antonio

How this works:

Studs: Top high salary picks that you can build your lineup around.
Scrubs: Value players looking for a big night or consistent options to help fill out your lineup.
Duds: Players to avoid given their high salary and/or poor matchup.

Five players are picked on each slide, positions are not applicable, and both DraftKings and FanDuel salaries are listed.

Studs

Giannis Antetokounmpo (at MIA – $11,400 on DK; $11,500 on FD): It’s a tough matchup against a good Miami team on a back to back. Which means Giannis is going to put up big numbers. Because anything there is a tough matchup, Giannis always steps his game up. Expect a big scoring and rebounding outing once again from Giannis in this one.

Russell Westbrook (at NY – $10,000 on DK; $10,700 on FD): Westbrook has been a roll for months and a game against the Knicks should be no exception. He offers better value than Harden at this point and is always a triple double threat. Until Russ shows signs of slowing down, there’s little reason not to build around him.

John Collins (vs MEM – $8,900 on DK; $8,600 on FD): Collins can be inconsistent but he’s been on fire for the most part as of late. He can do a little bit of everything and it’s a great matchup as Memphis is weak against the position. Collins should overdeliver once again.

Kristaps Porzingis (at CHI – $8,600 on DK; $8,900 on FD): If Doncic is going to be out once again then it’ll be the Porzingis show once again. He’s a beast when he’s on his own and a guaranteed triple double and then some. If Doncic plays then the salary might be a tad too high and you can look elsewhere. But no Doncic means Porzingis is a must take.

Jonas Valanciunas (at ATL – $6,800 on DK; $7,200 on FD): Valanciunas has turned things around in the last couple games and he remains at a good salary. It’s also a great matchup against a weak Hawks team. There should be plenty of points and rebounds in this game as both teams play with some pace and don’t always have the most defensive intensity. He’s a double double and then some.
