DraftKings PGA – 2020 Arnold Palmer Invitational Values

7,500 Brendan Steele

Steele is a technician off the tee (32nd SG:OTT) and on his approaches (21st SG:Approach). His form is solid with a T4 last week at the Honda Classic and his game really suits the Arnold Palmer Invitational, with 4 straight made cuts and 2 top 20’s in his last 4 attempts. If his ball-striking is at an elite level this week, then he could be looking at back-to-back top-5 finishes.

7,300 Alex Noren

Noren just dropped out of the top-100 in the world. This is a guy who ranked in the top-25 in 2018, and do not forget that. His 2019 campaign was a struggle, but he has played much better in 2020. His putter is magic, he just needs to figure out his irons and he will be in business. Noren has yet to miss a cut this season (6/6) and has 3 top-15 finishes. He is 2/2 in made cuts at the API. This is a fair price for a golfer of Noren’s pedigree.

6,700 Adam Long

I have never rostered Adam Long in daily fantasy. I have never written him up in my weekly article. The man has a win at the American Express in 2018, but is not extremely popular among DFS or PGA circles. His name has popped up on my model in the past due to his solid ball-striking, but I always find other avenues. This week my model likes Long, and I will be overweight. He played here last year, scoring a T10 finish. Long is a Florida resident, and has had success on Bermuda. Long finished T27 at Honda last week. Too cheap for this upside.
