45. . Cornerback. Denver Broncos. C.J. Henderson. 15. player

The Denver Broncos went on a nice run towards the end of the season, as rookie Drew Lock showed he can win games at the NFL level. Entering 2020, John Elway is convinced that he has found his quarterback, and now he has to go out and build up this roster around him while he is still on a rookie contract.

Looking at the other side of the ball, the Broncos have their issues on all three levels, and it could get worse in the secondary. Chris Harris is expected to leave via free agency, leaving a gaping hole at cornerback, but one that could be filled by a rookie from Florida who may be the second-best cornerback in this draft class.

C.J. Henderson showed out at the Combine, locking in a first-round billing, and in our draft, he is the second cornerback off the board after Jeffrey Okudah at No. 3. Henderson has the talent to start right away at the NFL level, has good hands, is great in coverage, and on this Broncos defense, he would fill an immediate need.

44. . Defensive Lineman. Atlanta Falcons. Javon Kinlaw. 16. player

The Atlanta Falcons saved Dan Quinn’s job with a nice finish to the season, but they will have to get off to a fast start in 2020 if he wants to keep it. The truth is, this Falcons team has way too much talent to finish on the outside looking in at the playoffs, but they have to get better along the defensive line.

Sure, they need help at edge rusher, especially with Vic Beasley Jr. not being pursued to return, but passing up on Javon Kinlaw here at No. 16 makes no sense. Kinlaw may be the most versatile defensive tackle in this draft class, and for the Falcons, he could play on the inside, and be moved outside in pass rushing schemes as well.

The offense in Atlanta is still loaded, as Matt Ryan is a very good quarterback, and Julio Jones may be the best wide receiver on the planet. If they can build up the defense, they should be a playoff team next year, because if they are not, they are going to be looking for a new head coach for the 2021 campaign.
