WR. Sun Devils . Brandon Aiyuk. 62. player. 854.

Is this class of wide receivers fun to watch or what?

Days one and two of the draft should be chock full of exciting playmakers on the outside and Arizona State’s Brandon Aiyuk is one of the most intriguing of the bunch.

Other than maybe Oklahoma’s CeeDee Lamb, Aiyuk is possibly the most electrifying receiver to watch in this class with the ball in his hands. His field vision and ability to force missed tackles make him a home-run threat nearly every time a play comes his way. All the more impressive considering Arizona State was the only FBS school that allowed him to play receiver, rather than converting to cornerback.

Aiyuk will definitely need to add some physicality to his game, as he didn’t often face press man coverage in college but I think he certainly has the frame to do so. Freakish wingspan should allow him to be a serviceable blocker on the outside in time.

The Packers haven’t taken a wide receiver in the first round since 2002 and in an exceptionally deep class, why break tendency now?
