With a new James Bond movie comes a new theme song, and this time around we get relative newcomer Billie Eilish as the performer behind “No Time to Die.”

When it comes to the James Bond franchise, there are plenty of things we look for, from who will play the iconic secret agent to who will sing the theme song. And over the years, there have been some amazing performers who have stepped up to the plate to lend their voice to these soundtracks. For No Time to Die, the voice behind the theme song is none other than Billie Eilish.

For those unfamiliar with who Eilish is, she’s a singer and songwriter who first gained attention with a song written by her brother Finneas called “Ocean Eyes.” That single was uploaded to SoundCloud in 2016 and the rest is history.

Since that first song hit the air, the “Bad Guy” singer has given us both an EP and a studio album, with her studio album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, being both a Billboard and Grammy-winning hit.

And now, her talents have brought her to the world of James Bond. With her unique sound, and ability to draw listeners in, Eilish is able to give the newest theme song the perfect blend of vulnerability and strength. She takes her voice and makes magic. If you haven’t heard the song already, you can listen to it in the video below.

As the youngest singer to record a James Bond theme song, according to BBC News, Billie Eilish is able to give listeners a glimpse at what we can expect from Daniel Craig’s last outing as our titular hero. From betrayal to once more rising from the ashes, it sounds like Bond is in for another wicked ride, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
