NBA DFS: Studs, scrubs, and duds for March 9

Scrubs

Will Barton (vs MIL – $6,000 on DK; $5,300 on FD): The Bucks defense isn’t the same without Giannis and it showed against the Suns. The Nuggets offense hasn’t been great but a guy like Barton can certainly get buckets. I trust him more than I trust someone like Murray who is as streaky as they come.

Eric Bledsoe (at DEN – $5,700 on DK; $6,200 on FD): No Giannis means Bledsoe moves up as the second option. You can also look at DiVincenzo in this spot if you really want to save some money because he’s proven himself to be a capable option at a good price. But Bledsoe’s ceiling is much higher given he’s higher on the food chain.

Mike Conley (vs TOR – $5,300 on DK; $5,600 on FD): Conley continue to get a consistent option given the price he is at. The Raptors aren’t good against the position and they are on a back to back. Reports of Conley’s demise may have been greatly exaggerated as he’s settled into a nice spot on the Jazz in the recent weeks.

Serge Ibaka (at UTA – $5,900 on DK; $5,700 on FD): Ibaka might be the fourth or fifth option on the Raptors starting lineup but he chips in with rebounds and the Raptors do a nice job of spreading out their offense. He’s a better option than OG on this night and shouldn’t hurt you at this price.
