13. ILB Joe Schobert

Schobert had a productive all-around campaign for the Browns in 2019, with 133 total tackles, four interceptions, nine pass breakups and two sacks. He led the NFL in tackles in 2017 (144) and has been an every-down player for three straight years (100 percent of the snaps in 2017, 99 percent last year, 76 percent in 2018 when he played 13 games).

Schobert is expected to have a robust market in free agency, with the Cleveland Plain Dealer reporting six or more teams could have interest. With that in mind, Browns’ general manager Andrew Berry seems resigned to the possibility of losing him.

"“Joe is a good player and an even better person,’’ Berry said. “We’re going to spend some time with his representation [Joe Panos] this week to talk through his contractual situation. He’s obviously earned the right to test the market if he deems that appropriate.”"

A return home to Wisconsin to sign with the Green Bay Packers, assuming they let Blake Martinez go, is surely on Schobert’s radar. But a sneaky bidding war may be coming, for an underappreciated player who’s about to escape from Cleveland.
