12. WR Robby Anderson

Anderson is not a legit No.1 wide receiver, but he does carry an acumen of deep-ball prowess into free agency and he’s one of the top options available at the position. The Jets will try to retain him, and they have the cap space to get it done. But he has already dismissed the idea of a “hometown discount,” and the open market should yield plenty of fruit.

Since 2016, via Pro Football Focus, Anderson ranks 11th in receiving yards on deep passes (20-plus yards) with the 15th-best grade in the league on those same deep shots. A better offense, with better pieces around him (of course including a better, more consistent quarterback) might unlock his full capacity as a deep threat. Going back to the Jets, even assuming improvement from Sam Darnold, does not seem likely to unlock that upside.

At 6-foot-3, Anderson may have some further untapped potential as a red zone threat. He has just 14 targets inside the 20-yard line over the last two seasons, with four touchdowns on those opportunities (2-for-5 in 2019). There seems to be a more-well-rounded skill set to exploit here, and at age-27 (on May 9) everything may be coming together for Anderson as he gets set to cash  via free agency.
