player. Scouting Report. 6-foot-4 | G. ASVEL. Theo Maledon. 69. Pick Analysis. 14

Maledon makes for an interesting fit with Lonzo Ball, as they can both play on or off the ball, as can Jrue Holiday and Nickeil Alexander-Walker. This would make for a versatile New Orleans backcourt around Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram. Maledon isn’t the most athletic but is a smooth playmaker with a shot that should keep improving. At only 18, he’s shown to be pretty solid in pick-and-roll. He struggles to get his own shot but that might not be a killer around scorers like the Pelicans starting forwards.
