DraftKings NBA Small Forwards:

Best Bets:

LeBron James ($10,900): LeBron ate the Nets the first time around. He put up 63.25 DraftKings points on them in Brooklyn. The Nets are solid enough to keep A.D. somewhat under wraps. LeBron is an entirely different animal. Luka is probably my top overall play, but LeBron isn’t far behind. They are both better, and cheaper, than Harden.

Paul George ($7,700): Kawhi went nuts on the Warriors the first time around, but that was because George missed that game. It’s getting hard to tell whether Kawhi or PG will have the big game lately. We know one of them will. The different is that George is $1,500 less and usually is still close to 5x value when Kahwi goes off. When George goes off, Kawhi has no chance. George is the guy you want here. There’s far less risk.

Honorable Mention:

DeMar DeRozan ($7,400): DeRozan racked up 139.25 DraftKings points over the first three games against Dallas. They can’t really stop him. DeRozan is still in off from the floor most games, but his work at the foul line has kept the floor high enough to keep me interested.

Robert Covington ($6,200): The Rockets are struggling of late. That is part of the reason for Covington’s inconsistency. He went cold against Orlando and the Clippers. In fact, he only shot four times against L.A. The Rockets need Covington to be heavily involved in the offense. They are a better team when he is. I expect him to be against his former team.

Mikal Bridges ($5,800): Bridges has put up two big games in a row, but then again, most Suns players have. This team is really cooking right now. They started this run on Tuesday against this same Portland team after dropping 114 on Toronto to open March. Bridges is playing more minutes than anyone with Oubre out. He is really cheap for the ceiling.

Dark Horses:

Shaq Harrison ($5,000): Harrison is staying in the starting lineup over Satoransky, so he still has good upside. Harrison stuffs the stat sheet in every category except for points. He can do that too if needed. Harrison has at least 30 DraftKings points in the three games since rejoining the starting lineup. We have no reason to think that ends against Cleveland.

Josh Jackson ($4,600): Jackson has been strong most of the time with Clarke and Jaren out. He had a floor game agianst the Lakers and that turned most people off of him. That was more than a week ago now and Jackson has not been below 26 DraftKings points since. He is putting up really good numbers for the price. That makes him a solid value play.
