New York Jets: T Daryl Williams (Carolina Panthers)

It is safe to say that the Adam Gase Era with the New York Jets got off to quite the rocky start. The club utilized three different quarterbacks in their first two games. And second-year pro Sam Darnold wound up missing three contests with mononucleosis. He would eventually return and it would take some time for him to get back into the swing of things. And before you knew it, the Green and White owned a dismal 1-7 record. But eventually the club settled then and won six of its final eight outings.

So there’s certainly promise entering 2020 and now the club must build on its solid stretch run. And the area that the Jets need the most help in these days is the offensive line. Only the rival Miami Dolphins ran for fewer yards this past season and the Green and White surrendered 52 sacks – the fourth-highest total in the league.

Under new head coach Matt Rhule, the Carolina Panthers are already making changes on their offensive front and it remains to be seen where versatile Daryl Williams fits into their plans. He could be an outstanding addition to a Jets’ offensive front that could use help everywhere on this unit.
