Tennessee Titans: CB Daryl Worley (Las Vegas Raiders)

They were the first team since the 2011 New York Giants to reach a conference championship contest after winning less than 10 regular-season games. For the fourth consecutive year, the Tennessee Titans finished with a 9-7 record. But for the first time since 2002, the club reached the AFC title game. This after road wins over the 12-4 New England Patriots and 14-2 Baltimore Ravens in the wild card and divisional round, respectively.

And Mike Vrabel’s upstarts owned a 17-7 lead over the eventual Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium in the AFC title game. But the team didn’t have enough defense that day to slow down Patrick Mahomes, who threw for 294 yards and three scores and also confounded Dean Pees’ unit with 53 yards rushing and one touchdown on eight carries.

Of course, Pees has opted for retirement and the Titans also have some big names that could be headed for free agency. The list includes hard-charging running back Derrick Henry, right tackle Jack Conklin and versatile cornerback Logan Ryan. If the latter opts to leave, four-year pro Daryl Worley could be an option. He started a career-high 15 games for the Raiders this past season and in four campaign with the Silver and Black and Carolina Panthers has totaled five interceptions and knocked down 34 passes in 56 regular-season contests.
