Liverpool face Atletico Madrid at Anfield on Wednesday, March 11. Here’s all the info you need to watch this Champions League match.

In the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 draw, Liverpool host Atletico Madrid at Anfield. Atletico won the first leg 1-0 after Saul Niguez’s fourth-minute goal. If the Reds are going to defend their Champions League title, they will have to beat Atletico by at least two goals.

Liverpool are running away with the Premier League title. Despite losing their first domestic game of the season, the Reds are 25 points ahead of Manchester City and could clinch the title by the end of the month. Liverpool will have to be significantly better if they are going to beat Atletico. In the first leg, the Reds were badly outplayed by their Spanish opposition. If Liverpool are going to come back and advance, it will be on the backs of the front three. Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah have combined for 48 goals in all competitions this season.

Atletico manager Diego Simeone has his team in prime position to eliminate the defending champions. The Argentine manager enters the second leg knowing that a draw will see his team through to the second leg. Simeone will set his team up to play a frustrating defense that will prevent Liverpool from generating scoring chances. In the first game, Liverpool did not register a shot on goal. Atleti will try to re-create that performance on Wednesday. If Atletico can score an away goal, it could be the difference in determining which club advances. Alvaro Morata leads Atletico with 11 goals in all competitions.

Liverpool keeper Alisson is unlikely to play on Wednesday with an injury. If Alisson cannot play, he will be replaced by Adrian, who replaced Alisson earlier this season when he was dealing with a hamstring injury.
