1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Bruce Arians’ Air Coryell-influenced, “no risk it, no biscuit” offense has generally ignored the tight end position as a pass catcher. That didn’t change much in Tampa Bay last year, as O.J. Howard struggled to find his way and he and Cameron Brate combined for 70 catches. Brate is a candidate to be cut, as the Buccaneers can clear another $6 million to add to their already ample cap space.

If the Buccaneers are going to go all-in to get Tom Brady and cater things to him, as has been suggested (including giving him input on the roster) adding a second threat at tight end to go with Howard might wind up on the agenda. Brate could be kept around to be that, but Graham would come at a lower cost and offer similar output.

Despite catching just five touchdowns over his two seasons with the Packers, the 6-foot-7 inch Graham had 10 touchdowns for the Seahawks in 2017 and is still theoretically a very viable red zone threat. That’s all the Buccaneers would need him to be though, as Howard likely steps into a more prominent role and Mike Evans and Chris Godwin function as 100-plus target wide receivers for whoever their new quarterback is.
