2020 NFL Draft: Minnesota Vikings 7-round mock
After going with an offensive tackle in the second round, the Vikings go right back to the line with their next pick. Kindley played on the same front as Andrew Thomas, likely a top-10 pick in the draft. While he’s to of that caliber, he’s one of the better guards in the class and should provide immediate depth with the upside of becoming a starter.
After Spielman moved on from Kline during free agency, it makes sense for Minnesota to find a cheap replacement for the next few seasons. This could be a bargain if Kindley fulfills his ample potential.
Jackson is one of the more interesting prospects in the draft. The Big Ten corner struggled at the Senior Bowl down in Mobile, but he shows enough physicality on tape to justify being taken on the second day of the draft. At 6-foot-2 and 208 pounds, he’s large corner who can help replace Mackensie Alexander and Trae Waynes, both who departed in free agency.
Jackson ran a slow 4.58 40-yard dash the Combine, moving him down some boards. Still, he’s worth a shot at this juncture.
