4. Jerry Jeudy, Alabama receiver

The choice between Jerry Jeudy and Lamb is a matter of personal preference. Both receivers have All-Pro potential. Like Lamb, Jeudy is also slated to go well before the Broncos pick at No. 15. A draft-night trade would almost certainly be required to bring him to the Mile High City.

Jeudy is a really good athlete, but his elite production in college was powered by his exceptional route-running skills. He’ll walk right into an NFL offense as a polished wide receiver capable of helping right away.

He might not make quite as many amazing downfield catches as some of the other receivers in this class, but he’ll make a living on precise intermediate routes. That might not be Lock’s strength as a passer, but he’s got the arm talent to make those throws in time.

The bottom line here is that Jeudy is an elite wide receiver who is going to develop into his quarterback’s favorite time in short order. The Broncos would love to see him work intermediate routes in space created by Sutton’s propensity to go deep. He’d be a great first round selection for Denver.
