Over the course of two seasons of Big Little Lies, we got to meet some very interesting women, while getting a look into their lives as they find themselves mixed up in a murder investigation. And while this entire cast is truly impressive, Reese Witherspoon was a revelation as Madeline Martha Mackenzie.

In this show, she was strong-willed, fearless and as alpha as they come. But at the same time, she was also struggling with watching her ex-husband move on with someone new, even as she realized that she wasn’t giving enough of herself to the man who truly loved her.

Big Little Lies was an epic series on its own and with a cast that included Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, and Zoë Kravitz to name a few, it was bound to be a must-watch.

1. Legally Blonde

One of my favorite movies has to be Legally Blonde. I can watch this every single time it appears on my TV screen and enjoy it like it was the first time. And what makes this movie so epic? Watching Reese Witherspoon embody the character of Elle Woods.

Elle is the last person you would expect to see getting into Harvard Law, and yet not only does she do it, but she does it in style. And from there, she is amazing. She pushes past every obstacle thrown in her path and if that doesn’t make her an inspiration, I don’t know what does.

Over the years, Reese Witherspoon has proven that she can taken on a wide range of roles and do it with style and grace. And I can’t wait to see what she is able to do next.
