843. Quarterback. Tyler Huntley. 198. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Utah

Pittsburgh should have learned from 2020 that it must start thinking about life after Big Ben and also that Devlin Hodges is not the quarterback of the future.

Tyler Huntley may not be the answer either, but he does at least provide the potential to be that person.

Snubbed from the NFL Draft Combine, Huntley is a terrific passer with above-average footwork and great arm strength. He does not have great patience as a passer, and he runs too early and too often. He also does not have great recognition. But both of these traits are learned and spending a year or two behind a future Hall of Fame quarterback could go a long ways.

The Steelers are going to take a quarterback somewhere in this draft, and Huntley is a great option.

Kansas. Azur Kamara. Pick Analysis. Inside Linebacker. 232. player. 821. Scouting Report

Finding quality depth and special teams contributors in the seventh round is key to a sustainable, winning franchise. The Steelers know that as well as anyone and will make good use of this draft pick.

Azur Kamara is not a polished piece by any stretch, but he does have speed and rare natural athleticism that make him a good project for a team to undertake.

NFL.com says that “He’s missing instincts and feel to be able to play freely and fast against the run at this time. Putting more functional mass on his frame will be critical, if he can carry it. He’s tremendously raw and unskilled as a rusher, which might work in his favor for teams looking for a long-limbed project to build from the ground up.”
