Pick Analysis. 74. OT. Scouting Report. Iowa. Tristan Wirfs. player. 878

Honestly, put whichever of the Tristan Wirfs, Mekhi Becton and Jedrick Wills. Those are the best three offensive tackles in the draft, and we see the Tampa Bay Buccaneers trading into the top 10 to draft one of them. We only put Wirfs here because we could see him being the best of the bunch.

How we see it going down is the Giants going drafting Wills at No. 4. Then, when the Arizona Cardinals make a move to draft Becton, the Bucs make the move to trade up with their fellow Sunshine State residents the Jacksonville Jaguars, who are working to get draft capital.

So, the Bucs trade to get up to move five picks, get the big-bodied guy out of Iowa, and sure up the offensive line in front of Tom Brady. Wirfs is the player with the highest upside of any of the tackle. His skill for a man of that size is unnerving for a defensive line.

He’s a finisher on that offensive line. Wirfs will not only stop people from getting to Tom Brady, but he’d made them pay for even trying. One reason the Bucs would be really excited about Wirfs is he seems like a candidate that could play inside. That makes him much less likely to bust completely. Even if he can’t be a LT or a RT, move him inside and all of his weaknesses are muted entirely. That kind of protection is something the Bucs would love when making a big boy move to get into the top ten.
