Third Round

Kentucky Wildcats. 92. player. 833. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. G. Logan Stenberg

With Marshal Yanda retiring, there will be a void in the middle of the Ravens’ offensive line. While he will end up in the Pro Football Hall of Fame one day, Baltimore needs to act fast about how the Ravens go about replacing him. So with their No. 92 overall pick in the third round, the Ravens will select Kentucky Wildcats guard Logan Stenberg.

Stenberg is 6-foot-6 and 322 pounds. He has the size to kick out to tackle potentially if need be. He also played during what has been a pretty good run of Kentucky football under Mark Stoops. With mobile quarterbacks playing behind him Terry Wilson and Lynn Bowden Jr. last season, Stenberg should have no difficulty opening up running lanes for Lamar Jackson to sprint through.

106. 860. Scouting Report. James Lynch. player. Pick Analysis. DL. Baylor Bears

With the compensatory pick the Ravens will have in the latter part of the third round, they will take arguably the best player off last year’s Baylor Bears team in defensive linemen James Lynch. Though his college teammate in wide receiver Denzel Mims will come off the board first, Lynch was a unanimous All-American and was the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year for Matt Rhule.

Lynch is 6-foot-4 and 295 pounds. The defensive tackle had an unforgettable career playing at Baylor. He leaves Waco with 100 total tackles, 33 for a loss of yardage and 20 sacks in only three seasons. Though he might have beat up on small Big 12 offensive linemen, Baltimore has to love the tenacity that he plays with and his ability to make plays in the backfield as a big guy.
