5 college football coaches you’d want to be with during a quarantine (and 1 total buzzkill)
2. Mike Gundy, Oklahoma State
Deciding between Mike Gundy and our champion in the No. 1 spot may very well be the toughest decision I’ve ever had to make for an article. To me, a fantastic choice for quarantine entertainment comes in the electric personality and interesting character of Oklahoma State’s Mike Gundy.
Since taking over following the end of the above-mentioned Les Miles tenure in Stillwater, Gundy has made for a journalists’ dream in terms of the content that he has provided. From the “Arkansas Waterfall” that is that luxurious mullet to some of his memorable off-season antics, Gundy has provided entertainment galore for football fans.
Gundy is never afraid to speak his mind, something he’s shown us time and time again that he can provide entertainment to any situation. When you’re in quarantine picking his brain, you’re going to find some information you didn’t even know you needed.
He also hunts rattlesnakes, farms and raises animals on a 110-acre ranch. He also used to be an avid golfer and enjoys all kinds of other sports for you two to enjoy during your stay in quarantine, so you’ll never run out of activities or conversational topics.
Gundy slides in at No. 1 in a race where it was tough enough to pick a top five—much less the champion of cool quarantine partners. There’s no doubt, however, that any selection or combination of these top five would make your quarantine much better.
