QB: Matt Ryan

RBs: Todd Gurley, Brian Hill

WRs: Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, Laquon Treadwell

TEs: Hayden Hurst, Jaeden Graham

The Falcons have had a solid offensive core for years. Ryan is entering his 13th season. He’s missed just three games in that span. He averages just under 4,300 yards, 26 touchdowns and 13 interceptions per season.

Jones is a lock for 1,300 yards but the touchdowns have been questionable. He hasn’t posted double-digit touchdowns since 2012. Ridley will continue to get the red zone looks as he’s scored 17 touchdowns in the last two years.

Gurley joining the team is going to be interesting. He had a down year last season, rushing for just 857 yards.  I think the pass-happy Falcons offense is going to help Gurley. Opposing defenses can’t ignore Jones and Ridley. Gurley may not get to 1,200 yards but he’ll be a reliable RB2.

My breakout star from the Falcons is their new tight end. Hurst leaves a run-first Ravens offense and joins the Falcons. Looking at former tight ends in the Falcons offense, Tony Gonzalez, Austin Hooper and Levine Toilolo, they’ve had great success. With a small tight end pool, Hurst is a nice sleeper pick.

I’d stay away from Treadwell and any other backup offensive weapon. The Falcons like to use their stars and use them often. It’s different for DFS, but in season-long leagues, don’t stray away from the big names.
