Tennessee Titans full 2020 NFL mock draft
By John Buhler
Third Round
The Titans could look at addressing linebacker in the third round, but they may want to look to add another receiver here. Tennessee had great success last year in day two of the 2019 NFL with their second-round pick in wide receiver A.J. Brown out of Ole Miss. Perhaps they can hit again by taking Devin Duvernay No. 93 overall out of the University of Texas?
Duvernay is a tad undersized at 5-foot-11 and 210 pounds. However, is coming off a tremendous senior season at Texas with Sam Ehlinger slinging him the pigskin. For the 2019 Longhorns, Duvernay had 106 catches for 1,386 yards and nine touchdowns. As Ehlinger’s favorite target last year, it’s a shame the Longhorns weren’t able to put it all together in Duvernay’s final season.
By committing to quarterback Ryan Tannehill long-term, look for the Titans to make sure he’s got plenty of weapons to throw the ball to these next few years. While Brown has been a success in Tennessee, former first-round pick Corey Davis hasn’t lived up to his lofty draft stock. By getting out ahead of this, the Titans are able to get a high-quality receiver before entering day three.
Fourth Round
Tennessee does not have a fourth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. This stems from a trade made with the Miami Dolphins for Tannehill. This No. 35 overall pick in the fourth round belongs to the Pittsburgh Steelers, as they received this pick from Miami as a part of the deal to bring safety Minkah Fitzpatrick to the Steel City midseason last year.
