Defensive Tackle. San Francisco 49ers. Ross Blacklock. 31. player. 42.

The San Francisco 49ers were the best team in the NFC all season long, racking up the No. 1 overall seed in the conference before making their way to the Super Bowl. With a strong lead in the second half, the 49ers ended up losing out to the Kansas City Chiefs, but this team is not going anywhere for a long time.

This offseason, they made the decision to trade away defensive tackle DeForest Buckner to the Indianapolis Colts for a first round pick, and they replace him here late in the first round. Ross Blacklock should be able to come in and be an impact player along a strong defensive line in 2020, as the 49ers look to get back to the big game.

After finishing up at No. 1 in the NFC, and then adding two first round picks, you have to believe that the 49ers are going to be in the discussion once again this season. This franchise has not shied away from adding defensive linemen in the first round under general manager John Lynch, and they add another one this April.

124. . Cornerback. Kansas City Chiefs. Trevon Diggs. 32. player

The Kansas City Chiefs will head into the 2020 NFL season as defending Super Bowl champions, as star quarterback Patrick Mahomes continues to carve up the league. The Chiefs were down to the San Francisco 49ers in the big game this past February, but the Niners could not keep Mahomes and company at bay for a full four quarters.

Kansas City has not sat back this offseason, and the plan is that they can run through the AFC once again in 2020. In order to do so, they must address some of the issues on their roster, including in the secondary, which was much better than advertised last season.

One cornerback they could look to add to the group during the NFL Draft is Trevon Diggs, the brother of Buffalo Bills star Stefon Diggs. The Chiefs have a strong safety tandem in Tyrann Mathieu and Juan Thornhill, but cornerback is an issue, and Diggs has the talent to come in and start right away.
