New York Jets. Andrew Thomas. 11. player. 30. . Offensive Tackle

The New York Jets brought in Joe Douglas to be their new general manager, and he has quickly gotten to work getting this team upgraded up front along the lines. That was obviously a strong suit for him in getting the job, and after adding George Fant and Connor McGovern via free agency, they make the move for another tackle at No. 11 overall.

Offensive line has been an issue for this team for years, and after adding those two veterans in free agency, they get one of the top tackles in this draft class. Andrew Thomas is touted by many as arguably the best in the draft class at tackle, and if he falls all the way to 11, the Jets have to pounce.

The Jets have a franchise quarterback in Sam Darnold, but he has been running for his life throughout the first few seasons of his NFL career. They need help at wide receiver, but the offensive line with Thomas, Fant, and McGovern suddenly becomes a strength, as Douglas stays true to his reputation.

28. . Wide Receiver. Las Vegas Raiders. CeeDee Lamb. 12. player

The Las Vegas Raiders had major issues on the defensive side of the ball last season, and general manager Mike Mayock addressed some of them via free agency this offseason. They added to the defensive line, linebacker group, and in the secondary, and at pick No. 12, they should switch their focus to the offensive side of the ball.

On offense, the Raiders have very few weak areas, but last season the lack of a true WR1 was evident all year long. With pick 12, they could get their choice of wideouts with the selection, and in this year’s draft class, wide receiver is by far one of the stronger position groups available.

With a choice between CeeDee Lamb, Jerry Jeudy, or even Henry Ruggs III, the Raiders decide to roll with Lamb, who put on a show during the NFL Scouting Combine. He is the perfect compliment to Tyrell Williams, Nelson Agholor, and Hunter Renfrow, giving Derek Carr a four-headed monster at wideout in 2020.
