2. Trade for David Njoku

I know, I said the same for the Cowboys, but this would be a huge move for Green Bay. According to the Packers’ own website, they literally don’t even have a first-string tight end.

After losing Jimmy Graham, they need a legitimate target. Marquez Valdes-Scantling quickly dissipated any hopes of becoming a true No. 2 receiver, racking up only 26 catches last season. We saw the emergence of Allen Lazard, but this was also partially due to Adams missing four games.

Graham was a nice name, but he is not New Orleans Jimmy Graham anymore. Adams’ talent, and his connection with his future Hall of Fame quarterback, doesn’t need explaining. While Lazard and Valdes-Scantling may benefit from being secondary options more than being primary targets, the Packers should definitely jump at seemingly the best available tight end. With Cleveland signing Austin Hooper to a four-year deal, Njoku is available. He also might not cost a first rounder, which is an extra bonus.
