Jacksonville Jaguars full 2020 NFL mock draft
By John Buhler
Fifth Round
Jacksonville only has two more needs to address at this point of the draft: Wide receiver and defensive line. With the No. 157 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Jaguars will take Wisconsin Badgers wide receiver Quintez Cephus. Look for him to challenge for playing time right away in Gruden’s new-look Jacksonville offense.
Since the Jaguars only have one more draft need, they will address the defensive line with this selection. So at No. 165 overall, look for Jacksonville to draft a champion in the former Rashard Lawrence out of LSU. There will be so many Bayou Bengals taken in this draft, and the Jaguars will be able to get one of them here in the fifth round.
Sixth Round
At this point of the draft, Jacksonville will have addressed all of its needs. So they can get a little creative with what they want to do here, assuming they do want to use all 12 of their draft picks this year. Though not as well-known as his college teammate Anthony McFarland Jr., let’s give the Jaguars Javon Leake here at No. 189 in the sixth round to round out the running back stable.
Jacksonville might have already signed Schobert to a massive, multi-year deal and ended up taking Dye earlier in the fourth round of the draft. However, the Jaguars will need to rebuild their defense. The best player available at No. 203 overall is linebacker Sage Lewis out of Florida International. Look for the Jaguars to keep him in the Sunshine State professionally.

And with Jacksonville’s final pick of the draft, they will take the best player available at No. 223. That might be Syracuse Orange safety Evan Foster. Since Jacksonville already lost Bouye and Ramsey in recent months to trades, the Jaguars need all the help they can get to help bolster the back-end of their defense.
