Scouting Report. player. 84. 13. Pick Analysis. 6-foot-5 | G. Vanderbilt. Aaron Nesmith

The Sacramento Kings’ second unit lacks shot-making so bad that they thought benching Buddy Hield was a good idea. With Bogdan Bogdanovic‘s future with the Kings somewhat up in the air, Aaron Nesmith would provide some serious shot-making ability for Sacramento’s second unit. He projects as one of the top 3-and-D prospects in the 2020 class and is one of the best shooters on the board, a natural fit with most teams. His 6-foot-10 wingspan is appealing too.

It’s a question whether he develops into something more than a spot-up shooter, but at this point in this draft, a solid threat on the wing would be a great value. As a great shooter with size, he could presumably play with almost any lineup combination and defend 2s or 3s.
