Denver Broncos full 2020 Mock NFL Draft
Fifth Round
While this Lamar Jackson isn’t as flashy or skilled as Baltimore’s starting quarterback, he may have the ability to impact games for an NFL team. He lacks traditional speed for a cornerback, but can sometimes make up for it with his length.
When Jackson is in the vicinity of a play on the ball, his long arms can disrupt any wideout. He may be best suited as a zone corner, or playing press coverage for the Broncos. A move to safety could be in the cards as well.
Sixth Round
An EDGE player is not a huge need for the Broncos currently, but this late in the draft with the capital Denver has, it can afford to dig for potential. He can play 4-3 end or 3-4 linebacker depending on what a team wants to do.
Garvin consistently finds himself in the backfield, but isn’t always the one tallying the sack. The right coaching may be able to rev up his engine though to unlock a high upside given Garvin’s physical makeup.
Seventh Round
Williamson is another prospect that will need time to develop. A move to safety could be made here as well, or he may be a career special teams player. At Minnesota, Williamson had 43 tackles, 2.5 sacks, one interception and three pass breakups in nine games played.
Windsor will have to pack on the weight to stick in the NFL, but this late in the draft teams are simply trying to find potential. He may have that and the Broncos could be just the team to help him develop.
