A hard-hitting division in real life, the NFC West just got even stronger for fantasy football owners after this offseason.

The NFC West is one of the more fun divisions to watch. The offenses are talented and the defenses are tough. Each team has won the division at least once since the 2015 season. With the way this offseason played out for these teams, it’s anyone’s to win. As for fantasy football, owners can look to this division for players at each position and be happy with their selections.

The Cardinals made a huge trade, acquiring one of the league’s best wide receivers for an injury-prone running back. With their young quarterback still developing, this is a huge confidence boost for him. The Rams lost their franchise running back but have enough in place to still be competitive on offense.

The 49ers lost a wide receiver but signed one as well. The running back situation is crowded but the other positions have worked themselves out. I don’t usually talk about defenses in these posts but the 49ers defense is going to be drafted in the top five.

Seattle added two veterans to the offense, giving their quarterback more weapons to play with. This offense will have competition at the tight end position but it won’t have a big impact on fantasy football.

I will be doing a piece for all eight divisions, leading up to (hopefully) week 1 of the 2020 fantasy football season. I will break down the offensive depth charts, let you know which players are worth drafting and which ones you should avoid. I will also include a player I see breaking out due to the moves made this offseason.

Based on your league’s settings, each owner values a player differently. A 2QB league will boost the value of quarterbacks more than a 1QB league will. The same can be said for leagues with multiple flex spots or a super-utility spot.

So, without further ado, here is my 2020 fantasy football breakdown of the final NFC division, the NFC West, starting with the Arizona Cardinals.
