A year after making it to the Super Bowl, the Rams did not have a good 2019 season. This season is going to be interesting as the team looks to be going in a different direction. For fantasy football, with the players on this team, there is a lot of talent to draft.

Goff threw for over 4,600 yards but his 22:16 TD:INT ratio did not help fantasy owners. He enters this season just inside my top-20 quarterbacks. He likely won’t be drafted in most leagues and is a bye-week fill-in outside of 2QB leagues. He has all of the weapons but isn’t putting up the fantasy points.

With Todd Gurley in Atlanta, Henderson and Brown are the top two running backs. The former is expected to take over the starting job but we have to see how well he recovered from his ankle injury. In his absence, Brown will see a boost to his fantasy stock. Gurley had 223 carries, 857 yards and 12 touchdowns last season. If we continue to see Goff’s attempts decline, those carries will have to go somewhere. Whether that’s Henderson, Brown or someone else remains to be seen.

The Rams have a three-headed monster at the wide receiver position. Kupp and Woods broke 90 receptions while Cooks had just 42 in 14 games. The first two are top-20 wide receivers in both standard and PPR leagues. Cooks is inside the top 50. There just aren’t enough passes to go around.

Higbee surprised fantasy owners last year with his 69 catches, 734 yards and three touchdowns. Backup tight end Everett also had 37 receptions for 408 yards. I think we’ll see more of a separation between the two this season. While he’s in the top 10 this season, Higbee could finish even higher.
